America Georgine Ferrera is an American actress who made her name a household name with her character as the title in the well-known television show "Ugly Betty'. Since she was interested in acting when she was in school, she performed in several school productions on stage and rose into prominence with her debut film 'Real Women Have Curves'. Her role in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" brought her more attention, but she was most well-known for her role as the main character on the TV series "Ugly Betty", which won her numerous Best Actress Awards including the Screen Actors Guild Award and the Primetime Emmy Award. America Ferrera met Ryan Piers Williams, an actor and director, at the University of Southern California. She had been cast in a movie for his students. They tied the knot in June 2010, and were married on June 27 in 2011. The couple has two kids: a son called Sebastian--born in May 2018--and a daughter named Lucia--born on May 4, 2020. In a tweet, she revealed that she was sexually assaulted as a nine-year aged girl. She called on fellow females to speak out to ensure that the future generation of girls won't be confronted with this bullshit.
