Karla Cabello Esterab Spanish, born March 3 1997, is an American artist and singer. She gained notoriety by being a part of the group called Fifth Harmony, formed on The X Factor USA in 2012, signing an agreement to record together with Syco Music and Epic Records. In Fifth Harmony, Cabello began to establish her own identity as a solo artist with the release of the collaborations "I Know What You Did Last Summer" featuring Shawn Mendes, and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, the one that reached fourth place on the US Billboard Hot 100. Cabello quit Fifth Harmony in 2016 and released several collaborations like "Hey Ma" which features Pitbull and J Balvin, for The Fate of the Furious soundtrack (2017) and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly. The album she released as her debut album as a studio artist, Camila (2018) reached number one on the Billboard 200 charts. The Latin-inspired pop album received the Platinum certificate from the Recording Industry Association of America. The lead single "Havana" was a top chart hit across several countries, including the US and UK, and follow-up single "Never be the same" was a top 10 hit in multiple countries. Cabello's 2019 duet "Senorita" featuring Mendes was her second top 100 single. Romance (2019) is her second studio album reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 charts and at number one in Canada. Cabello is scheduled to appear in an upcoming movie adaptation of Cinderella (2021), for Sony Pictures.
