 Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress. She started modeling at 13 and her first acting job was when she was 15 years old. Then she continued to play in various TV and film productions. Cornish is most famous for her role in the historical films such as 'Elizabeth: Golden Age', the courtier Bess Tharockmorton as well as the heroin addict in Candy. She also played Lindy in the sci-fi thriller 'Limitless,' and Fanny Brawne as Fanny Brawne's character in the biopic "Bright Star. The roles she has played on television include "Outriders" and Marking Time'. Cornish, an aspiring rapper and performer, has been performing under the stage name MC Dusk since 2000. She was born in New South Wales. She was raised by three of her siblings, and enjoyed a happy childhood. However, when she reached 16 and her parents divorced, she was devastated. Abbie managed to come through the trauma of her parents' divorce by focusing on her career. The Australian beauty is a fan of the piano and guitar, but she would rather be acting all else. Cornish is a vegan who sticks to her beliefs who believes in the rights of animals. She also donates money to the animal rights movement from time to time. Abbie Cornish was birthed in Lochinvar (New South Wales), Australia on 7 August 1982. She is the second child of Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. Isabelle Corish is her older sister and she is an actress. When it comes to the romance life of the actress she was once engaged to actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated from 2006 until the year 2010.
