Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who appears on CNN and HLN's various platforms. The DIY Network's LAST House STATING series, which aired on the 30th of March, 2012 featured Bonnie Schneider as the expert on camera as well as the executive producer. The first book she has published is EXTREME WATER by Palgrave Macmillan. It was released on January 31, 2012, by Palgrave Macmillan. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. When she was in Boston, she also provided reports on lifestyle and entertainment as a special assignment reporter on a daily basis. Before joining WB56 she worked as the weekend forecaster for WFOR-TV Miami. She's had a number of reports and meteorology positions, including: News 12 Long Island, a 24-hour broadcasting network for news and entertainment, as well as WXII-TV which is the NBC affiliate located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Additionally, she was employed by the CBS network located in New York City as a regular fill-in meteorologist for The Saturday Early Show.
