Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef personality. She also was an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne Burrell. Burrell hosts on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network celebrity with her signature spikey blonde hair and bubbly personality, reveals simple techniques to master and reduces intimidation of restaurants dishes on her TV show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell has worked at New York at top restaurants as well as studied Italian cuisine tradition and its environment. Also, she was a contestant on Iron Chef America on Food Network. While growing up in the upper reaches of New York area, Chef Burrell discovered a love for cooking and food at a young age. The Culinary Institute of America sparked her interest in the management of restaurants after she graduated with an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. She says "I was a huge Culinary Institute of American student. I loved every minute of it." The Culinary Institute of the Americas was an excellent place to study. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) as she attended the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. In her time in Italy she grew to truly comprehend and appreciate the philosophies behind Italian culinary and cultural traditions that left a lasting impact from a culinary viewpoint. Burrell has been a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that aims to make a difference in children's lives who are facing problems. She is also an Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador where she advocates for education about the condition known as juvenile diabetes. She is a frequent guest speaker at conferences and travels the country to mentor others in her role. Anne was always grateful that she was able to share her passion of sharing her cooking skills with other people.
